Zalk kent een rijke historie die de Vereniging Dorpsbelangen Zalk graag wil laten terug komen in het landschap. Cultuurland Media heeft in opdracht van de Vereniging Dorpsbelangen Zalk informatiepanelen opgesteld en bankjes geplaatst op verschillende historisch waardevolle plekken aan de dijk. Hierdoor kunnen recreanten genieten van het uitzicht en gelijktijdig het verhaal van het landschap in zich opnemen.
